Mountainbike routes for all abilities

Over 200 km of panoramic and breathtaking routes

Val di Ledro is a true paradise for lovers of MTB with over 200 km of marked trails on forest roads, paths and old mule tracks suitable both for those who are still at their first rides, and for those who want to feel the adrenaline explode in their body. Among the most popular routes, the ascent to Tremalzo and the one to the mouth of Trat - Rifugio Pernici stand out.

The valley floor is crossed by a cycle path that leads from Lake Ledro to Lake Ampola and by numerous secondary roads also suitable for cycling, such as the road that leads to Val Concei up to Rifugio al Faggio.

The ascent to Monte Tremalzo is a must for any two-wheel enthusiast. You can decide to tackle the climb along the provincial road which, completely asphalted, starts after Lake Ampola and reaches the Pass or choose one of the various partly cemented, partly dirt paths that lead from the valley to the military road, built by Italian soldiers during the First World War, which runs through the entire southern slope of the Ledro Valley. You can choose the ascent from Prè-Leano up to Passo Guil , and from Molina towards the Passo Nota . These itineraries are passable in both directions; the only route recommended only for downhill is the one that descends from Caset along a fairly narrow path in the woods.

Along the northern side, among the various itineraries, it is worth mentioning the one that leads to Passo Trat- Rifugio Nino Pernici. You go up from Lenzumo along a steep road of mountain and, after having refreshed yourself at the refuge, you can go down towards the Valle di Ledro thanks to two comfortable forest roads, or towards Riva del Garda .

Along the valley floor there is also the cycle path that from Garda leads to Val d'Ampola .
From Riva del Garda, take the Ponale path from which you can enjoy a unique view of Lake Garda (pay attention to the many pedestrians and other bikes that you may come across) until you reach the entrance to the tunnel . To avoid cycling on the state road, cross the bridge to Pregasina and, immediately after, take the path on the right which, unpaved and almost flat, reaches the village of Prè .

Enter the town and continue straight after passing the church; From here the road is almost entirely asphalted, however in some points it has quite steep sections which, however, allow you to reach Molina without suffering the traffic of the state road. Arrived in Molina di Ledro , under the sports field, and continue along the Ponale torrent . From Molina continue on the state road or along the south shore of the lake up to Pieve di Ledro . From Pieve the cycle path continues on the left side of the state road until after Bezzecca , from which it then continues alternating on a cycle-pedestrian path and on a mixed road until you reach Tiarno di Sopra < / i>.
